We made it to the White Mountains in New Hampshire. Right now we are in the Lincoln/Conway area which is a fairly touristy area with lots of winter skiing. The hiking here is outstanding, and the views are wonderful.

Initially we were headed towards Maine, but unless you're headed towards Acadia NP, there doesn't seem to be a lot of camping spots. We're pretty happy here, and we don't want to go down in altitude so we can keep a little cooler, so may just stay in this general area for a while.

Dawn & Check - great to meet you guys & be neighbors in the middle of no where!  Too bad about the smoke in the Sawtooths. Our shared campsite on Prairie Creek was a good one, and we ended hiking up Prairie Creek to Minor Lake (with all the Creek crossings) on our last day. Beautiful!
